It took a bit to get going and hook me, but once it did, I really really enjoyed it! It's a YA book, so it's not everyone's cup of tea, and it pulls some punches in terms of the mortal danger Halo novels typically put their characters in, but I think it works well for the story being told and the intended audience, and I'm looking forward to Meridian Divide!
