I enjoyed this read. The world building was really interesting (bonus points for accurate corset depiction). Larimer took a fairytale we are all familiar with and put a new unfamiliar spin on it that added a sprinkle feminist introspective on witches and societ at that time. I did find this story was just missing a few pieces to really put it over the top as an amazing read for me though. There were some really cool plot points and world building elements that didn't get enough follow through. I personally did not enjoy the ending. It just didnt make sense to me so I found it unsatisfying. Others may enjoy the ending though. Overall, an interesting read that sheds new light on a well known fairytale.
