The Soulmate by Sally Hepworth
dark
mysterious
tense
medium-paced
- Plot- or character-driven? A mix
- Loveable characters? It's complicated
- Flaws of characters a main focus? Yes
4.0
I love Sally Hepworth, and The Soulmate did not disappoint. Check it out because it publishes soon.
A medium pace read, it hooked me from the start. Even though there were a few spots that slowed for me (that could have also been a result of multiple distractions while reading this one), I never once lost interest. The multiple POVs were easy to follow as well as the multiple timeline (Past/Present). It was just twisty enough to keep you wo dering if you really have it figured out or not, and the twist in the end was a good one.
Thank you, NetGalley, and St. Martin's Press for the ARC and opportunity to provide an honest review.
