Aaaaarrrrrrggggggghhhhhhh!! The way EA just gets me so caught up, engrossed, and entangled with these slow burns needs to be studied. My brain chemistry, that steady flow of serotonin is absolute bliss. Like a freezing cold day at work and you get home and get a nice set of fuzzy pyjamas on after a bath/shower. THAT is what it feels like, but it lasts for hours because the books are all 400 pages long, but with not a single page going to waste.

Fake dating? Always a winner. You will NEVER see me poorly rate a fake dating romance because they're just too damn tasty.

Matthew and Josie were a wonderful couple to follow. The banter between the two that consistently had that undercurrent of romantic tension had me kicking my feet and giggling like a teenager. The two complimented each other so well, and Matthew just kept Josie going. He was THERE and he was ready to stand up for her whenever, wherever. While still maintaining his sweet, bespectacled Cinnamon roll personality. Oh and it was my favourite type of Cinnamon roll. The surprisingly spicy praiseful one 😍

Josie, damn, that poor girl. She's experienced loss, she's getting cyberbullied, essentially, on a podcast. Manipulated by her dad and his PA. Has constant assumptions made about her and her character, when she's just a really lovely small town girl, with a big heart and she just needs to be loved properly 😭

I loved them both.

You should read this if you have any interest in romance whatsoever. Perfection. No notes.
