Continuing on with my Wolverine mini-read, the story continues from [book:Astonishing X-Men, Volume 1: Gifted|31979]. The threat against the X-Men is continued when the power goes out at the school as old enemies return along with a new, unexpected one.
Some fun scenes (Wolverines "I really like beer" moment made me chuckle) and reasonably compelling story made for a slightly better story than the first volume. Still tropey, though.
Moving on to some stand-alones after this.
