This book is FULL of just messy interpersonal drama between three siblings and their various companions and acquaintances.
I really liked a lot of the book but I also felt like it was kinda reaching to be a fantasy book. The witch aspect didn’t feel totally necessary and often just felt very convoluted. I wish it either focused on that more and in a more clear way or it got rid of it and focused on just the drama between characters instead.
A long book with a lot happening but also not much at all. I wasn’t a huge fan of it trying to convince me toward the end that some of these people changed or should be thought of nicely now cuz that’s just not the case but overall I found the drama pretty fun to read and the narrator was golden.
