The Bone Orchard by Sara A. Mueller
4.5
a beautifully confusing, weird and intriguing gothic murder mystery with an interesting cast of characters and some political focus!
i would check cw/tw before reading as some scenes are quite graphic/harder to read due to content
this book is weird. it’s the best way to describe it. there’s a jekyll and hyde situation which was super interesting to read about and quite a large focus within the book is on the characters and their identities compared to charm
i LOVED the boneghosts, they’re all great to read about and the complexities between them and their conflicts helped to push the story and add new possibilities
i don’t think this is a book i would recommend to everyone, but if you’re looking for a weird and complicated fantasy book i would absolutely recommend this!
