Confessions of a Mask by Yukio Mishima
3.5

yukio mishima was a fascinating person and this is such an interesting and particular view into his life and thoughts. he was a man of contradictions and they play out on the page here, but by the end nothing has come of them for kusano, he's forever beholden to that mask. the feeling of incompleteness is definitely the point, but it still left me frustrated.
