If you like mysteries and Jane Austen, then this could be for you. I have read all six of Austen’s published novels — I even took a graduate English course on them — and this was such a fun and interesting way to meet up with characters who felt like old friends and get some hints as to their lives since the events of the books. I felt that Gray did a great job staying true to everyone’s characters as established by Austen, and the new characters she created felt like natural extensions of Austen’s own.
I will be checking out the rest of the series, and I hope I’ll enjoy them as much as I did this one.
