Where the Library Hides by Isabel Ibañez
4.25
This book was a fun time and a good sequel. It had been some time since I read What the River Knows but I quickly fell back into that world.
I think the balance between the romance and the plot was managed well. Between these two elements of the story, sometime always felt like it was happening.
Inez did occasionally annoy me because she seemed so naive at times. After everything that happened in the first book, she still managed to make so many dumb choices in this book too. But part of me gets it too and I cannot fault her for her big heart and impulsiveness.
I liked the big mess that was the ending. I liked that it wasn’t simple and think it played well with the reveals (that I did not for see). The epilogue was unique, and I like how it was done.
Good sequel and overall, I think I liked it better than Book 1.
