....What can I say about this book. Utterly incredible from start to finish. The actual definition of a page turner, I read this more or less in a day even though my eyes got tired, which is a rarity for me (maybe one in every 100+ books). Can definitely work as a stand alone book for those nervous of a nine book series, as carter will always fill in the reader of important facts from the previous books.
