There were a handful of tips and tricks I picked up from this book that will work well for my child and our family. More than anything though, it inspired me to be more intentional about the books I do choose, to diversify what/how/when we read, and overall just sparked more passion to read. I would caution that while there are tips, tricks, and scientific evidence to back up the WHY, I found this mostly to be a great resource for recommendations on WHAT to read aloud.
