The way the author writes this book is actually dream-like. It's kind of floaty and makes you feel like everywhere is a maze or some kind of loop. I liked it! The cover is definitely misleading ahaha but I got this book as a blind date from a bookstore so!
One thing I liked about this book is thatit's never explained how the virus started and it's cool how it's very references modern culture like the internet and the news. and how it wasn't predictable. For an example, I wasn't expecting Mei to die. I thought Mei and Matthew were going to become official and she was going to be a heroine. and I definitely didn't expect the father of the girls to play a bigger role.
Honestly I was invested in all the characters, I was surprised because normally when there's a ton of characters and if we're following multiple people, I tend to get confused but this wasn't confusing at all.
Thanks for writing!
