I usually hate lots of drama. However, this book begins with lots of past drama. High school issues come back up when Payton makes a bet with her brother, Dom, about whether or not a person can have sex with someone three times and not fall in love. Her best friends set her up with her high school nemesis thinking that she will be able to resist him no problem.
But Payton and Elliot have serious sparks and lots of history. Payton realizes that her stubbornness has cost her a lot. Elliot has an adorable daughter and he sees this as his chance to tell Payton what happened in high school .
Once these two talk, the drama is sorted out. I loved that Payton is not ashamed of her business and that she owns up to her mistakes. Her OCD made me laugh too.
Elliot is hot and swoony and an excellent father. His daughter is fantastic. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to the next books.
