Hydra by Matt Wesolowski
4.0

Following the same format as Six Stories with the same haunting undercurrent of the possibility of supernatural involvement, Hydra focuses on the story of a young woman who murdered her whole family. Where Hydra diverges from Six Stories in that instead of focusing on a case that may warrant another look, it focuses on exploring why the crime was committed and peeling away the drama conjured up by the media. It may make an interesting choice for a book club because I think the characters are compelling enough to warrant examination and discussion.

I would recommend Hydra and plan to read the next in the series as soon as I have a free weekend.
