The positives: I’m tired so you’re gonna get bullet points–
OKAY, OKAY HERE ME OUT…this book (and all the others) inspired the movies, right?
I love this movie b/c the score and soundtrack is my favorite of any film I’ve ever watched hands down, right?
SO AND THEREFORE, if there were no movie? Oh yeah this would def get a 1-2-star rating lol BUT that’s not the case...so automatically it’s a 5. YUP, that’s my girl math!
-Love Charlie, he’s my sweet baby angelllll! I wish he were my dad and justice for him!
-Love very last quarter of this book b/c Edward was back and there was less Jacob and mundane descriptive BORING writing
-Love that this book (and all the others) inspired the movie. I love this movie b/c the score and soundtrack is my favorite of any film I’ve ever watched.
The negatives: I’m tired so you’re gonna get bullet points–
-F Jacob for being….Jacob aka annoying, childish and not taking no for an answer
-F Bella for using Jacob when Edward wasn’t around and abusing Charlie’s niceness. Charlie is innocent, leave that man alone!
-F Edward for leaving in the first place and being dramatic
-F this book b/c how dare you put me in a month and 14-day reading slump?!?! Who do you think you are?
-F this pacing of this book. This felt like it was painfully moving in slow motion. I’d say the film is WAY better than the book. I had to fight tooth and nail to get through the mundane actions of everyday life of Bella. It was so boring and the absence of Edward was sooooo LOUD in comparison to the film. For that reason, this book would've gotten (normally) a 1-2 star rating for that reason, but for Twi-hard reason...
