I really enjoyed discovering more about Pascal in this book. In the previous books he may have seemed cold, even distant, when it came to his family, but we soon realise that he is hiding his anxiety under that mask of indifference. 

 

Parker is an incredible character, and I love her so much. I appreciate Daphne Elliot’s ability to write strong FMCs who can stand on their own but still welcome a helping hand from time to time. 

 

Every time I read one of the books in this series, I tell myself that I can’t possibly like the main couple more than the couple that was the focus of the previous book, but I’m wrong every time 😅 

 

I'm going to hurry up and read the fourth—and final 😢— book in the series.
