Deadly Obsession by Nigel May

Many thanks to Netgalley and Bookouture for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I am a fan of this authors previous books. The way he can come up with a story in the same vein as those written by Jackie Collins is quite something. I couldn't wait to read this one to see if it lived up to his previous books. I can honestly say it did, and then some.

Amy has lost the love of her life, Riley. She is trying to piece back her shattered heart, and life. What she isn't expecting is to find herself in the middle of a mystery which could very well cost her something even more precious - her own life.

On receiving a letter Amy has to decipher clues she doesn't even have as yet in a bid to find out what happened to her husband. En route to the answers she finds herself doubting everything she ever knew about him, and their marriage. She uncovers a deception which goes far deeper than she thought possible, and finds herself in danger on more than one occasion.

I kept hoping upon hope that what the author was suggesting throughout the story was, in fact, true. To know what I'm taking about you need to read it yourself. Suffice to say I'm not going to mention if I got my wish or not. However when all is finally revealed it was the perfect ending.

I love this authors books and can't wait to see what comes next.
