The first book in this series, My Minotaur Husband, was my first Lyonne Riley story and one of my first dives into cozy monster romances. When the author announced this second jump into the New Eden world, I couldn't wait for Maddie's story. Egorr and Maddie had the sweetest journey to their happily ever after. He is such a gentle and caring soul, completely focused on his little human wife. Maddie was just looking for love, and found that plus so much more with her ogre. This author does the size difference trope with an A+ skill level, and every interaction between the main characters was full of consent and respect. Also, how can you resist a man who goes shopping for *toys* willingly? I loved their story so much. It was ! a perfect little spicy escape!
