Thank you to cocoa chapters book tours and Dey street books for an advanced copy of this book.

This book was hands down 5⭐️. The amount of information that was given blew my mind. I have so many notes and tabs in this book that it is crazy. I want to get another copy just so it’s in perfect condition. The historical punchlines that the author uses. I loved it. This was so relatable that I wished I had a history teacher who taught the way this book is written.

This book need to be the new history book used in schools but we all know this is not what they will allow. The truths mentioned I this book will make you highly upset. I literally asked my self “Why are we even proud to be called African American”. America has been built on savagery. PERIOD.

The way that I was upset with the lies I had been told. America definitely need to answer for the transgressions that it put on all the natives and people who look like me but it’s clear that this will not ever happen. America feels as though they hadn’t done anything wrong and that in itself is a problem.

I fell in love with the amount of research that was completed for this book. Michael lists every source and labels the information through out with the annotation. I am amazed at how detailed it is and will be doing further research.

I advise anyone and everyone to read this book. Get copies for your family and friends. Teach your children the truth. They will be so much better knowing who they really are and who they come from. I LOVED THIS BOOK!!
