Not related to the quality of the book but I have to say I'm confused why Sam is called a CEO. It might be a language barrier thing but he's juste helping to fix and/or sell those companies he doesn't own them in any way. Maybe there's not an actual word for this kind of job idk.
Anyway the plot was interesting, Sam and Michael had good chemistry but the internal thoughts/monologues were sooooo repetitive mostly with Sam:
- They're horny for each other
- Hard to be gay in a corporate job and it could ruin his carrer if people found out
- He's ashamed of being in the closet
One or twice fine but here I'm pretty sur we could easily cut a few pages. A few pages where they could have had a few more scenes together.
Still an enjoyable read overall but some thing lacked a little depth like howSam's trauma was brought up. There's this big build up where we think it's about someone else but once we found out we just move on. And while I don't think it's impossible for someone to be into this kind of kinks after what happened I don't think it was done in the best way. Him having a bad experience in the past and finally being able to try it properly would make more sense if there's so little backstory and consequences to what happened.
