I wanted to be a fan of this considering how much I love Shojo, but it fell a little flat for me. The pacing of the story as well as the plot were off to me. It kind of felt like we were reading 4 different chapters from 4 separate volumes, instead of the single issue. Mizuho was unnecessarily rude for the majority of the volume, and it really killed her likeability to me. However, Kizuki's persistence, for a lack of more serious term, wasn't a great addition either. I still had a good time reading this and might consider giving volume 2 a shot to see if my opinions still stand.
