Can’t really say much happened in this book because it didn’t. I feel like the whole second amplifier plot line could’ve been carried out a lot more than the first 20% of the book (if it even lasted that). The rest after that felt a bit pointless.
Alina’s characters becoming a bit darker through this, mal just fades into the background because let’s face it he ain’t bringing much to the story, the darkling barely exists and Nikolai carries the whole book.
