I loved Gleam, the third installment in the Plated Prisoner series. After pushing Auren outside of her comfort zone in the previous book, I was thrilled to see her finally step into her power and choose herself.

This book delves deeper into Auren's backstory, providing valuable context for her character and her journey. We also learn more about Midas's betrayals. The blossoming romance between Auren and Slade is a highlight, offering a much healthier and fulfilling relationship.

The political repercussions of Midas's plan are explored in greater detail, drawing the reader's attention to the other kingdoms and their involvement in the conflict. The way Auren's actions impact the wider world adds a layer of complexity and intrigue to the story.

I'm incredibly proud of Auren for choosing herself over everything else. Her growth and development throughout the series have been inspiring (if not frustrating) to witness. With several more books to come, I'm eager to see the consequences of Auren and Slade's actions and the direction the story will take.
