Daredevil: Back in Black, Volume 1: Chinatown by Charles Soule

4.0

This was the first Daredevil comic I had read, and I was really impressed. The art style was gritty, the action interesting, and the main villain creepy.

I particularly enjoyed Daredevil's protege "Blindspot," an undocumented Chinese immigrant who is fighting to help his neighborhood, filled with people unable to go to the police.

If there was one weakness of the volume it is that it continued to reference to an event that happened before the story started, which I always find annoying.
