The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab

4.0

So, I did like this book. I enjoyed reading it. It is slow to start (for me at least) but it picked up. I thought the plot was really interesting and unique—- not being remembered? Always being desired, except it’s fake? Intriguing. I also like how it didn’t really end happy and typical like books similar to this may have.
My gripe I guess is that while the book picked up later, later parts were still a little slow for me as well. I enjoyed some of the flashbacks of Addie’s life that were given, but it did feel like there were too many, like the book was bogged down a little from that.
