Where can I find myself a Slade?!? Seriously, he is supportive, selfless and caring and swoony. The perfect book boyfriend! Flirting with 40 is a fun age gap romance about finding yourself and gaining confidence back in who you are as a person.
Blakely is recently divorced, she has lost herself, she is dealing with a coworker who is a complete jerk. From the moment Blakely and Slade meet at the bar there is a connection between them, however, Blakely is afraid of their age difference and she lacks some confidence in herself. Slade is confident, charming, sweet and supportive.
I loved the banter between Blakely and Slade. I loved the chemistry between them. There is just so much to love about these two. There is just so much to love about the two of them. Their relationship was effortless, it was fun and there were so many times throughout the story you can just see how perfect they are for each other.
