Marigold Mind Laundry

“By choosing to be happy, even when the days are full of thunderstorms, the gentle moonlight in our hearts can still bring about peace. By choosing to love, our hearts are filled.”
Marigold Mind Laundry read like a fable. A place to go and wash your pain away? Very cool concept to go along with the simple message that taking away your pain changes you, so you should be present and take it one day at a time. My own mind honestly completely skipped over the magical elements of this story - I think a lot of the world building just got lost in translation for me. It definitely felt like it was more life-advice-driven than character-driven, although there are quite a few characters. Not my favorite, but I’m still impressed by the concept.
