This is my first time reading 𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝙷𝚞𝚗𝚐𝚎𝚛 𝙶𝚊𝚖𝚎𝚜 and overall it was a good read. It's very similar to the movie adaptation  I could say it's maybe one of the best book to movie adaptation. I definitely could understand why it was (and still very is) hyped by many adoring fans. If ever I have read this a few years prior I would have too.

The downfall of the book for me is there weren't many descriptions of the Capitol and per district as I liked it would have. I do understand why though, it could seem tedious and unnecessary for some readers, but then again I'm a lover of descriptions and world building. This being said, the writing style was alright and very easy to read.

Overall, I found this book enjoyable and binged-worthy. I look forward on reading the proceeding books of the series. And may the odds be 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 in their favor!
