♾️ ⭐️ I bawled through this entire book. My favorite Lauren Asher to date. Jax is the ELITE book boyfriend.
*This book talks about sensitive subjects including anxiety, depression, addiction/alcoholism, witnessing murder(& PTSD from that) and long-term illnesses (Huntington’s and Alzheimer’s diseases).
Jax and Elena are two broken souls trying to make it through adulthood. Elena is a PR representative who we met in Collided while she was working for McCoy to help Liam improve his public image. Jax is a broody, tatted F1 racer for McCoy who has got himself in a little bit of hot water due to some mixing of Xanax and alcohol. Elena is hired by McCoy to follow Jax around 24/7. Through the extreme forced-proximity (and a whole lot of sexual tension & banter), Jax and Elena work through their problems together.
This book is phenomenal and gut wrenching at times. I thought there was no way the Dirty Air series was going to surpass the Dreamland Billionaires series for me, but BOY was I wrong. This will definitely be a top 5 romance read of the year for me!
