Avenging The Omega by Angel Knots
2.0
2 ★’s — at long last! we get a nugget of personality!!
i'll take what i can get.
this book was similar to the first two. very little in the way of details or explanations. after colin and his baby were flown off to another base, ben and his pack went after them. colin makes some friends, learns what i assume are supposed to be shocking details, and ben finally has to decide between colin and the military. pretty obvious choice there.
turns out doc waters' wife is alive, his daughter is being kept there at the base, and both parents were convinced the other was dead. sawyer and the other omegas help colin with the baby, ben regains leadership of his pack, and in the end we get to meet ben's family (sorta a fade to black thing though.)
all in all, this book wasn't a huge improvement over the last two but at least ben has some details about him out there so now he's more like a cardboard cutout with sticky notes on him. it's a marginal improvement from before.
and i can't argue with a family reunion (either of them,) so at least that bit was satisfying.
