hodge podge until the last chapter!
I got kind of annoyed when, the main character woke up “10,000 years” in the future and then proceeded to say ten centuries had gone by, twice, in the story. Ten centuries is only 1,000 years. Robert meant to say ten millennia however he didn’t hire a good editor to catch that. Whatever. The end is an amazing journey through our universe and beyond into the quantum realm. The last chapter was poetry, enough so, that I could forgive the rather bland characters, and how Robert makes his characters “go to bed” with each other all the time. Seriously. That’s how he wrote it. And then the lady person would make the male person breakfast. The male person would gorge on protein (eggs and meat) cause of all the sexy work. Honestly, a lot of this book is patriarchal sludge but he does give you a gift at the end, despite himself. Oh dear.
