Yeah ok, I can now answer that question: what book isn’t better than the adaptation? I liked the tv show adaptation of Umbrella Academy but it has far better characterization and pacing then the graphic novel it’s based off. I love the ideas presented here, but the show just tells the story in a much more effective and enjoyable way.
