The writing of the characters is very inconsistent and doesn'tmake sense in the story that is presented.

William says that he wants to know where he comes from and is not interested in Angelika and dismisses her advances. then without warning says that he can't live without her and pounces on her. Angelika is supportive of Will but still obsessed over the man she made. She openly says that she he has free will then whines that he should be with her because she made him. the poor writing is just exhausting.
