Not what I expected, but Atwood can certainly tell a story. This one was like peeling an onion, lots of layers. There was a story within a story, and then multiple perspectives as well. Primarily focused on two sisters' lives through the depression and WWII in a small town in Canada. Also a riches to rags story.
