Bear With Me by Jessica Redland

4.0

This is my first Jessica Redland's book and it was quite a engaging and wonderful book, full with complex and real characters and following the life of two people in a storyline that made me wish I could be a part of the world.

Written in the POV of Jemma and Sam, I got to experience an emotional ride as I got to learn more about each character, their heartaches, their dreams, fears and day-to-day lives, as they fight for move on, and end up meeting and connecting. As the friendship between them begun and since I could read about their opinions and thoughts, it was lovely to see the relationship develop.

Jemma was an amazing character, a kind person that deserved all the best in the world. And Sam too. They book deserved to have happy lives doing what they want. The interactions between them were fun and I loved reading about it once they met.

This novel is much more than Bears, love and the seaside. It's about everything that life brings. The heartaches, the sadness, the love, the dreams, the happiness and the emotional journey that is finding our footing after something unexpected happens. And that was something I loved about the book.

I recommend this book. It felt real. I felt like I was a part of that community and knew the characters. I felt a connection to Jemma and Sam. I felt a connection to the story and I hope I can find something unexpected in my life. Meanwhile, I will just live, day after day and keep enjoy books like this one that makes me think about life.

[I want to thank Rachel, at Rachel’s Random Resources, and Jessica for the eCopy of this book and for allowing me to join in the fun and by being a part of the blog tour with my honest review of the book.]
