i didn’t expect to love this book this much.

i’ll say, i wish the author had skipped the the 8 year age gap when aurora is young and has had absolutely no experience. sure, it’s fiction so she seems to be adjusting fine to everything but it’s something that is way too normalized when men who are above 25 should look at women closer to their age, with a similar level of experience.
once again it’s fiction so i tried not to think about age while reading and liked the book anyway but i’m waiting for the day authors stop with the ridiculous age gaps for a young character’s love interest.
