The Book of Two Ways by Jodi Picoult
4.0

4.5⭐️ - I started this book knowing nothing more than it was about a plane crash survivor and alternate time lines. So I was joyfully surprised to find a story that so closely mirrors my own life (minus the plane crash). As a trained anthropologist and death doula my own interests could not be more closely aligned with the main character, Dawn. Add to that a story that explores deep, philosophical life questions; quantum physics, Egyptology, love and loss and death - well, that’s near perfection in my mind. This book is smart, and well-researched, and accurate for a work of fiction - and that is something I deeply appreciate above all else in a story.
