Yellowface
by R.F. Kuang
I usually don't listen to fiction on audiobook. My mind wanders and I can't pay attention for too long and the next thing you know a chapter goes by, a new character is introduced, and I'm totally lost. But this one held my attention (great narration by Helen Laser) from start to finish and I found the insider observations on the publishing industry really interesting.
The ending was not a huge surprise, but the journey to get there was a lot of fun.
