Zero Days by Ruth Ware

3.0

This departs from Ruth Ware's usual schtick quite a bit.

I think my 2 stars off are due to the predictable plot and Jack making so many bad choices throughout the book that made her look like a prime suspect from the beginning. (And the surprise at the end coming in hot with my least favorite trope any book can offer. IYKYK.)

I loved the premise and was happy I forgot what the book was about when I finally started reading it. It was a lot of fun figuring out what was going on in the first scene.

Overall, if you usually like Ruth Ware, I'd say it's worth a read. It's an interesting crime thriller with a very stubborn and determined main character who has a cool job.
