Prior to this book, the only Colleen Hoover novel I had read was Verity. I was expecting something similar out of this book so I was surprised to find it was totally different. This is more YA (late teen/early 20s). There were some disturbing scenarios, not nothing too graphic and overall this novel rang with hope, love, reconciliation, and understanding. It was definitely a feelgood read for the Thanksgiving season that I was in while reading.
