YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED IT'S A TABOO RELATIONSHIP
Spoiler It's a father son romance with a hea, so most of you will find it offensive

Right from the beginning I knew what I'm signing up for and maybe that's the reason or I'm fucked up in brain that I found it pretty entertaining. But It's not perfect I'd say (which is why a 4 star rating) but before i dive deep down, another disclaimer I'LL BE TREATING IT AS OTHER ROMANCE STORY, AND FOR ME ADULT ROMANCES BOOK ARE JUST SOME WELL WRITTEN FANTASY. so here we go.

Rhyker never planned to be a dad at the age of 16, before getting in a term with his sexuality. But once held that chubby little bundle of life, he decided to be the best dad for him. Followed by custody drama, separation and cut back to the present timeline after ten years when He and his much grown son Creed met in a very questionable situation. And the rest is history.

See i cared for Rhyker, a teen dad, bonding with his son over diaper and weekends, having rough relationship with his boyfriend and hiding his sexuality , It's genuine and raw. NJ emoted the whole scene delicately. So Rhyker's struggle resonated with us. Moral of the story

ALWAYS USE PROTECTION

Now for Creed's part, he had his own problems, suffering from chronic ADHD, he struggled a lot expressing and controlling himself, Rhyker being the lifesaver here did whatever he could do. And I was melting from inside before the custody drama, way before we got into the main action. Now separated from his dad Creed is just another load no-one cares about. Over the top his struggle with understanding his sexuality, lack of opportunity, exposure to drug and all..... gradually he became another horny teenage boy. Which I did not mind at all. Overall first third of this book is undoubtedly a 5 star worthy writing.

It's near 40% when events starts to take turn. Grown up Creed accidentally met Rhyker for the first time in ten years and end up giving him a head. From there their story started to develop. Though it had moments of guilt and remorse, it was equally hot, caring and understanding. Hesitation claimed It's place, also teenage inexperience, needy side talked equally. Creating a nice conflict on the ground of morality and longing.

It's not a proper romance, It's 80% lust and 20% hesitation. Which is obvious taking the complex relationship in consideration. But there were plenty of scopes to explore their romantic side. When Creed goes back to Toby, Rhyker's sudden change of mind, was not convincing enough. The conflict emerged but got solved too easily, not leaving any long lasting impact. Their hea seemed forced, a plot device rather than some genuine development.

But It's TOBY for me guys. Badass cop with a soft heart. Protective yet fierce. DEAR TOBY, WILL YOU BE MY BEST FRIEND? I SWEAR I WON'T CALL YOUR "HORRIBLE JOKES" HORRIBLE !
