The Sorcerer of Pyongyang: A Novel by Marcel Theroux

hopeful reflective medium-paced

3.0

Hmm.... That's all I can really say about this book. The premise seemed interesting, but I needed more. I don't know if this was based on a true story or not, the ending section makes it seem like it was, but I don't know. I wanted DND to be included more, y'know, since it's in the title. The book doesn't even say Jun-su was a sorcerer, just the DM. I'm always skeptical about anything that talks about North Korea, especially when it wants to paint the country as this land that only commits human rights violations, as if the UK or the US has any room to talk.

TLDR; it's alright
