Easy to understand plot and fun characters. The fights are mostly well directed and understandable. As someone who doesn’t play RPGs, some of those aspects were a bit difficult to understand but were explained enough that I could understand them for the most part. Big emphasis on detail orientation about that stuff though, remembering what’s in inventory, what effects potions have, additional items or skills and where they got picked up. It was a little more intense than I expected from a book I picked up for fun reading but I still had a good time and am interested in reading the next one
