It was a compelling listen and I might continue. But ... it somehow lacked the magic of the Bridge Kingdom. There I was instantly transported, here I stayed slightly outside, watching the characters interact. I was not swept away by the drama and the romance, even though there is a lot to say for the world building and the set up. Also because of my slight distance some small things were more jarring to me. Did anyone else feel there was some homophobia and some body shaming going on?
