Say Nothing: A True Story of Murder and Memory in Northern Ireland by Patrick Radden Keefe

emotional informative reflective medium-paced

5.0

Very informative (and thoroughly cited) maintaining the humanity of the people involved. There’s so much to unpack here - the level of “acceptable violence” in a political/liberatory movement, academic and journalistic ethics, what constitutes a war, and how to rebuild a community ravaged by division. I learned a ton about the Troubles and am looking forward to continue to learn more.
