Welcome to the Monkey House by Kurt Vonnegut

4.0

These 25 stories were a fun introduction to Vonnnegut's works. They made me laugh, they made me sad, they made me hopeful, and a couple made me mad, but I appreciated all the various emotions that boiled up from these tales. The ones that splintered in my heart, like "Adam" and "The Manned Missiles", I look forward to reading those again. His perspectives vary greatly but come from the same root, and it was so refreshing to experience that from a collection of very different subjects.
