This volume was fairly entertaining. The villains are laughably bad but the rest is decent. I see more of naruto and sasuke right now than the new generation but I'm sure it's just for the introduction. Fans wouldn't have been too happy at the time to receive a whole new character without warming up to them alongside ones they are already used to.
