Millie Fleur's Poison Garden
by Christy Mandin
I admit that the fifth star is complete bias because I love the Wednesday Addams vibe. That said, the story is a good one, well-told in words and pictures (pictures that I hope the author will be selling in sticker form).
Moving to a new place is difficult, staying true to yourself and wanting to belong can also be difficult. And the picture book tackles these conflicts in a way that is charming and accessible and absolutely resonant.
