Ah this is what you want in one of Terry Brooks' Shannara books!

A beautiful, yet talented and surprisingly realistic, heroine, magic, monsters, trickery, adventure and eating bread and cheese which is like the only thing adventurers ever eat!
Must be good cheese...
But this is a great story and my second favourite of this particular foursome!
I recommend reading them in order, but since I read this one first, meh, as long as you're on the ball, you'll do just fine!
